Fancy a Flower Give-away

I had a little gathering at my house last week for a few crafty ladies and I wanted to make them each something to take home that was quick and easy.
I had some fun crocheting these little flower brooches (and  key-ring), playing around with different combinations and yarns, trying to match up their favourite colours.
And then I got out my stamps and stamp pads and went to town on some cards to match.

It was so much fun that I want to make some more. One for a co-workers birthday and one for my Mum.....and one for you!

If you would like to win your very own fancy flower....all you need to do is comment on this post telling me your favourite colour and I will draw a winner on the 10/6. Then I will make a brooch in the winner's prefered colour. It's that simple! Are you in?

  4. Lovely. My favourite colour is grey... not so good for flowers really I suppose... but I'm loving yellow too! And red! And pink! And blue! And green! ... and most colours really... but I'm not so fond of purple.

What pattern or tute did you follow? (Can I ask?) These are the perfect gift idea... I'd like to have a go too.

  6. It is an inspiration to read your blog. I, also teach, and it is hard to find time to do some craft with all the demands of the job and family, but finding the balance is important for our sanity. Your flowers are gorgeous and my favourite colour is blue.
